Talk about a windy day...electricity off for 1 hr...
« on: November 24, 2011, 05:21:47 PM »

We've been having some crazy weather in the last 2 wks or so....rain snow  & high winds...

Well today it has been super WINDY...
Our electricity went out for aprox hr.
Don't know if the wind had anything to do with it (tree fell across road or something) but all north bound traffic was re routed to Marine Dr in S Vancouver....as the exit from the Arthur Lang Bridge to Granville was closed...
Gee all vehicles bumper to bumper & piled up way back...( good to know a few traffic tricks...went down to Kent ??? anyways small bumpy road south of Marine Dr. & zipped to Cambie...& saved a lot of time)

The ferries were not running...
Would of been a good day to go boating in a 16ft boat at Sand Heads...do not think so....it's a day that the CCG may have to rescue the CCG it's just that windy.

Bet the pilots taking off or landing in the smaller planes have higher blood pressure on days like this. :o
