Hey,

Used to living in Vancouver and going to get pinks at Cates. Now I'm in Victoria and would like to take a couple of my buds out to get some pinks here. Anyone know any good spots around Vic for nailing a few pinks from the shore?!!

otter point in sooke
ogden point breakwater, victoria
ten mile point, cadboro bay
golf course on dallas rd. (if they still allow it)

these are all popular spots for a reason    I would guess that island outfitters could point you to some good beaches as well?

lots of other spots too, exploring beach accesses wherever you can, especially near stream and creek outlets will pay off.  I'm only talking gear as I've never flyfished those areas.

I like otter because the big springs come in tight there....no need for a boat.  Good luck
