The seven/eight fly rod would get you into the pinks and coho. I personally would leave the 4 weight at home, and take a nine weight rod, to use on the Chum in the Kitimat.  A nine foot spin casting rod, with the right assortment of spoons will allow you to fish the Skeena even if the water is high and discolored. There have been some fellows that have made some trips up there recently, so you might want to PM them for some recent up to date information and for tips.

Rig the 7/8 with an intermediate tip and a 4"-6" black and blue chicken.

Rig the spin rod with #3 or#4 Gibbs gold or silver Colorado under a float.

You will catch everything that swims up here.
