Steelhead Tube Fly Tying Night

Sea-Run Fly and Tackle in Coquitlam is hosting a tube fly tying night on January 22nd from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. In this intermediate to advanced level course, taught by Ron Hjorth, you will learn how to tie 4 of the top producing tube flies for steelhead and bull Trout using the Pro Tube system.
You will learn the following:
- Material selection
- Tying styles comparison: European versus Pacific Northwest styles
- Tying techniques
- Benefits of tying on tubes
- Weighting tubes, cones , dumbbell eyes , vented cones
- Stacking tubes
All materials supplied, if you have your own vise & tools please bring them and the store will supply the Pro Tube vise needle. This course is limited to 8 students - intermediate to advanced level of ability. Pre-registration is required and cost is $75/student + GST.
