Pacific Angler Fishing Courses in February and March

Posted on January 28th 2013, by Pacific Angler

The end of January is always welcomed in Vancouver as it means the bulk of winter is well behind us and spring is just around the corner. Looking forward, there are some amazing fisheries in February and March. February is also a great month to get into fly tying or hone your existing skills at Pacific Angler in Vancouver.

Tying a classic salmon fly is an exciting one-of-a-kind course taught by master fly tier Andre Stepanian. There is simply no other course offered in Vancouver and the Lower Mainland which will give you the skills to tie beautiful classic salmon flies.

Steelhead, cutthroat trout and winter chinook salmon will be the focal fisheries through February and March. Due to popular demand, Pacific Angler has added a third steelhead float fishing course in March. For the beginner float fishermen, this is an exciting time to learn the art of float fishing. March is the peak of the steelhead season and you will have shots at your very first chrome steelhead.

Pacific Angler's cutthroat fishing course will be offered again in March. This is a store favourite as cutthroat trout are aggressively feeding on fry and you can often sight cast to fish thrashing on the surface of the water. This course is excellent for anyone interested in focusing on the world class cutthroat fishery that is right at our doorstep.
