freds has a great selection, as im sure reaction tackle, and chilliwack dart and tackle do also.

You could find them at Searun, Berry's, for sure, probably Fred's as well, and maybe Reaction!! ;)

jettabambino, you're based in North Van right? Check out Highwater Tackle (itosh can provide the address and direction), or Anglers West on Broadway (just east of Cambie). If you are adventurous, Berry's Bait and Tackle in Richmond (Just east of No. 6 Road and Westminster Hwy) has a good selection of rods. If you ever head out to the Vedder River, take the Whatcom Exit and stop at Reaction Fly and Tackle, Terry (he reads the posts here often) will help you out.

Another HMX fan here. Strong blanks, reliable rod, decent price.
Searun Fly & Tackle carry them.
I have a HMX fly and drift rod as part of my collection and they have stood up to many fish and so far so good.

for coho and other salmon definitley a st-croix wild river excellent warranty and excellent action you could get one for about 150.00 i have a st-criox 10-6 , a lamiglas 10-6, and a loomis center pin 11-4 all excellent rods

Hey if you are still looking for a rod, Randy at hatch matchers in maple ridge has a drift rod for pinners on sale for $60.00. It is a medium heavy 10.5ft convergence.brand new
