Which outboard?

I need to buy a 25 - 30 HP for my 16 FT aluminium.. PLease let me know your likes and dislikes. My options are Merc or Yahama.

I would say yamaha is the best bet. I have a 30hp yamaha and have never had any problems great engine best out there.

both are great motors,2 or 4 stroke,just personal choice......what colour goes with your boat??personal favorite is a shiny black merc though 8)

They are both good motors.    I would base my choice on service.
