« on: September 15, 2005, 07:27:19 PM »

I will start. It sems that there are far fewer fish around this year. Sure there have been limit's to fishing time.

the chuck has been on fire for me everytime i've gone out now. and the on the river i'm batting above 50/50. Lake fishing I had the best day of my life with over 12 fish caught in a single afternoon (and none were little guys).

South Africa. You're complaining !?! They have one of the best fishing ground there (salt water)
My wife was there 8 years ago, invited by their foreign affairs. They went fishing and she caught a yellowfin and a Albacore.

She said it's a fishing experience she would love to try again.

I lived in South Africa, and had a fishing charter, Im going back for a visit. The fishing is the best there, but BC still offers the best of its kind here.

Well for me I has been very good.  I've been out 5 times to the frasier and once to the veddar thus far.  I've hit 19 sockeye 23 pinks 9 red spring one hatchery steely in july bar fishing and one Hatchery coho on my first trip for them.  So for me it has been very good.  Sorry i am a bit of a stats freak!!!!!

Been a pretty good year so far. Should have about 60 days left, fall fishing is a lot more fun.

For this fishing year so far has been better than last year.  Although certain opennings are shorter there seems to be more fish on the river.  Last year, sometimes it takes me up to 6 Hrs. to get my limit.  This year, my shortest outing is less than half an hour.

Why brag about how many fish you guys have snagged this summer? and dont even bring up "Well you dont know how all these fish were caught!!!" Anyone who spells fraser "fraiser" and vedder "veddar" is a bouncer ;D ;D ;D

Hey fishy just wondering if you were talking about me????? Are you having a bad season??? Wondering where the hostility is coming from.  By the way I finesse fish.  Hate long leaders, they are a pain to work with, and yes I do BB. So what. It is pretty much the only way to catch a sockeye anyhow.  So if you went out for sockeye, then so are you!!!!

Fishing has been awesome for me this year! :)

Between January and April, I was fortunate enough to get into many bull trout and a few steelhead. :)

In June, the smallmouth bass fishing at St Mary Lake was sensational. :)

In July, we caught kokanees for the first time. :)

In August, I caught my first sockeye on the bar rod. ;D

We got into some beautiful rainbow trout on the Thompson River. :)

September... Well... I'll let you decide how good the fishing has been for me. ;)
