Where do you plan to go ? Pinks are opened in the tidal portion of the Fraser, mouth of Capilano and Seymour.

They're coming.

Here's the Upper Johnson Strait's (Area 12) pink salmon catches in the test fishery.

http://www-ops2.pac.dfo-mpo.gc.ca/fos2_Internet/Testfish/rptcsbdparm.cfm?fsub_id=208

Select 2005, and pink salmon.

Yup! Pinks are what we can look forward to.  It doesn't look like there will be sockeye opening. :(

yeah,   it seems late this year,   maybe the water is to warm?   but 2 years ago is hard enough to remember the exact dates,  nevermind all the other things in life that I have to deal with besides fishing,   I work, I love fishing,  but it isn't my only  perogative,   just love pinks too though,   if you fish  they will , yeah

Actually I haven't. I've had five proper fishing trips so far this summer. :'(

St Mary Lake smallmouth bass
Kawkawa Lake kokanee
Vedder River red chinook salmon
Squamish River pink salmon
Fraser River barfishing

They'll be here, it's still early. These two were my first Fraser pinks two years ago, they were caught on August 30th.

Hi Rodney,
Those two pinks looks like were taken at the No. 5 road location you mentioned before?.

Today I went to Sounthland to test my new fishing rod. Saw a few salmon leaping. 1 of them did a TRIPLE!!! HOP HOP HOP.
Neat.
