Hey,

I'm going to Deep Cove on Sunday, and is wondering what type of bait would work there? Squid...shrimp? Along with that, what hook size should I use? And would I catch any fish, if so what kind?

Any fish will do. I'm happy as long as I catch any fish. But what do u catch there?

You can catch sole there. But when you arrive at the park remember to check if there is closure. I belive Deep Cove is same as Cates Park closed to fishing during summer for boat use.

I'm sorry, but this may sound stupid, how do you check for closure? And if it opened for fishing, wold u rather go to Deep Cove, Cates Park or Ambleside?

Try not to catch or even try for rock cod . They are so scarce we should let them reproduce .
