heading to campbell river next week - how's things? (fishing wise)

hey all

any info on where the action is around the campbell river area...is the quinsam producing coho yet? is it productive off the pier...I may not have access to a boat so curious what i can find driving around....

also...what sort of setup (fly gear) would you recommend for coho..i have an 8wt flyrod with a good reel...but curious what line (sink?)  I should use and what sort of fly?
