what lake? and what to use?

i live in langley and surrey area and i was wondering what lake i should go to this weekend and what to use? ???  :-\

Do you have a boat?  Do you have a car/truck?  What weight rod do you have?

You could try Hicks or Deer Lake in Sasquatch.

try lightning lake in maning park great dryfly lake and its good for fly fishing practice

don't mean to hijack the thread but my question is related... In regards to Lightning Lk. - Are there area's to park and launch you boat or tube ,just for the day ? And would you even go out in a tube on that lake ?

theres a parking lot but you have to pay like 5 bucks for the day you can easily lauch a row boat there and a tube i was up there for a week and i went out in my tube everyday the olny thing is there is no motors aloud

ok Thanks , i am goin up there for a camping/fishing trip on Aug.15 but lightning lk. is booked solid . So i am staying at Cold creek and then i will just drive to the day area at lightning lake , or i may hike to the lake .

if you wanna hike a lake go to flash lake i hear the fishing is better because most people dont bother to trek thier stuff over thier, i booked in advance  ;D
