Fish Smoker Suggestions
« on: July 04, 2005, 05:54:45 PM »

So you think after all this time there would be a topic on fishing smokers and what are good and bad one's - but there isn't, so I feel inclined to start one. Alright I bet some one's going to dig up some old post on one but here's a new discussion. What are your opinion's on the little/big chief smokers? Are there other one's out there that are better in that price range (and no Bradley is not that price range) I'm looking for a good little smoker so any experience with the one's you people have would be great or any sugguestions, thanks.

I have both the Little and Big Chief smokers. Would personally recommend the front end loading Big Chief.

I have a Big Chief front loader and it has done me just fine. I really want a Bradley and will get one for next salmon season but the Big Chief is just fine for the money. I think the Little Chief is a bit small.

I have the little chief and it has been fine for the amount of  fish smoking I do.

Build your own. Plywood sides, one by two for rails, oven racks, hot plate, and a castiron frying pan. Build  it to the size you need, only thing better is a Bradley.

Will it be Linux or Microsoft? Or may be Mac on Intel?  :-\
