Worm on wedding band

If a person was to troll with a wedding band, does it matter if one puts a worm on or not ???

I find you catch a lot more with a worm or peice of a worm on the hook.

I have heard about using maggots for kokanee but have never tried it.  Do you buy them at fishing stores.

Or you can put a peice of meat outside and wait they will show up ;).  Not sure if the house next to you will like it 8)
