Hey Guys.
Had the opportunity to be a guest aboard my neighbours boat today and we fished from 6 am to 1230 pm.
Lots of Fraser runoff everywhere making visibility murky, and problematic algae blooms fouling hooks with slime, jamming swivels, and lots of wood on the water right through the harbour to the Slash.
We started off fishing Past Cowan about a mile, trolled with the tide into close to shore down into Seymour Bay, and doubled back fishing a zig zag pattern inshore/offshore all the way to Cape Roger Curtis where we made a turn into Tunstall Bay.
Unfortunately, not a bite, NOTHING, NADA!
We were running hootchies, 2 anchovies, and various Coyote Spoons, and a Katchmor in various combinations at depths ranging from 135 to 50 feet and NADA!
We had the company of another boat about a mile distant, fishing the dropoff inshore, but keeping a watchful eye through the binoculars proved that they didn't fare any better than us.
To finish off the trip we picked up lines and headed back to Point Grey and made a couple of passes with the local charter fleet at Point Grey's Red Bell Buoy, Q62, and an attentive ear on the radio didn't seem to lend much insight as to fish in the box. Boats present were the John B, Mas on M @ M, Chaos, and a couple of other sporties. But again, NADA.
All in all, a sunny day on the water, but not much happening today.

Tight lines to all this coming weekend.
