scottm, would you mind telling me about what time the hot fishing started at KWB?  ;D

The fish could be new fish just coming up, and it will be nice to get a rough estimation of their migration time at this water condition.  You can PM me if you do not want to broadcast this.

About luck at KWB, once I heard an amazing story from a guy.  He did the same thing as you did, last stopping point on the way home at KWB after a tired & fishless day.  He lucked out as there was not a soul around and a new school of steelies arrived.  He hooked into 7.  He said he used the hot fishing to test out the effectiveness of various terminal tackles, and the conclusion was, it does not matter, they all worked at the time. Quite an interesting story.

Just to make sure Scottm and I do not cause a zoo there in the afternoon, I have tried my luck at KWB numerous times as a last stop, and skunked every time.  :-[   I guess I just don't have the luck to walk into a willingly biting school of steelies.  Most of my fish are hard won and involves much searching & hunting.

Well my bro and I put on allot of mileage today and besides finding some new nice water, there was nadda for both of us. Moves me to 1-5 now. Actually this is the first trip I didn't see a fish on. But still a great day.

How deep is the area around the KWB ? Where do you park ? I've seen cars being ticketed on the road across the bridge.
