where's my truck?
« on: March 01, 2005, 06:31:40 PM »

there's this guy I know, who is almost a non drinker, was invited out to a scotch tasting function last night, anyhow this night turned into a real long night (this was not the intention) anyhow he woke up this morning late for work and feeling a bit on the rough side.in a panic etc, couldn't find the keys finally found his keys. heads outside to his truck.even more panic no truck :o he knows he did not drive to the function, first thought was trucks been stolen, second thought was could I have been that far gone to have taken the truck somewhere after the function, then spots his truck in the neighbors driveway ,now he's totally confused.decides this would be a good time to do his paperwork instead of heading to the site.on going indoors his wife tells him that when he was out last night the neighbor borrowed the truck. :-[

Wow that's my memory without scotch!
Good thing I'm not a big drinker.
I probably would have woken up in the neighbor's house where the truck was parked.

What i like is that he didn't drive to this event and was able to expereince the terror of not finding his truck.  He didn't hurt himself or anyone else and he has a pretty amusing story to tell to his friends.
