Took my kid to see the Canuck alumni play oldtimer Pilots and wow can these past prime players ever move. Some of these aged players really have some wheels and skills. Our local Canuck Moe Lemay just finished his pro career in Germany a few years ago and even though he's put on a few pounds overs the last few years he came out in the second period and really proved why he can skate with the pros. The old Canucks also showed the old Pilots why they made pro and the Pilots didn't - just stronger and faster and really let the locals know that they can still dish it out at another level. Old Canuck Ryan Walters played on the Pilots alumni with MSA President Bernie Saywell. You could just see that if these two played together when they ere in their prime - it would have been something to see. Good time and hey - it was a hockey night in Canada.
