Cap R.
« on: August 29, 2004, 10:07:17 PM »

There today to see what was going on.... water was dead low half a dozen people fishing.Did see a fish landed didnt think it was a coho tho probably a spring cuz of the size. Then hooked up with 2 conservation officers and guess what?!? they were from penticton :o :o they told me they knew nothing about the regs on the river  and that they were only there cuz they dont have enough people working down here. So i told them about the bad ban etc.... couple of  guys got busted for using bait, barbed hooks and failed to show a licence. Not a bad day, nice day for a hike...give it a couple weeks of good rain fall!   ;D  good luck!

You would think that if they are assigned to the Lower Mainland they would be up on their regulations in the area.
