Some of you like to go up to the resort during the ice fishing season so please note this. Al is going to be busy phoning all their guests who have booked for the Christmas holiday in the next little while so lets make it easier for him by holding off your questions by phone until early next year. Hopefully the resort will be able to open after January 9th for a couple of months of good ice fishing.

Since the first days of COVID-19 pandemic in the spring of 2020, we have done everything in our power to abide by Provincial Directives and to develop and execute a detailed COVID-19 safety strategy that puts the health of our guests, employees and community first. As we are now 9 months into this pandemic, we are pleased with our track record of safety. We were also delighted to see so many of you enjoying a summer holiday on Tunkwa Lake.
After careful consideration of the latest Provincial Directives that include restrictions on non essential travel and socializing with only members of one's direct family, we have made the decision to close Tunkwa Lake Resort until January 9th, 2021. Anyone with reservations across this time period will be contacted directly by our office, to cancel their bookings with full refunds, or the option of moving your reservations.
We know these are hard times for everyone and that there are many families in need of a winter getaway. We are all optimistic that there is light at the end of the tunnel and that we will all be able to return to normal in 2021.
