Looking for Cobbler Advice
« on: November 01, 2020, 08:27:22 AM »

Wanting to get a pair of my Redington boots worked on. New felts, new laces, etc... Called a bunch of shoe repair places in the Surrey area but havent had any luck with someone looking to do this work. Also tried the local tackle shops and they are either out of stock or dont carry replacement universal felt soles. I even tried calling Redington customer service. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good Boot repair place?

Thanks.

Try New West Cobbler, 642 6th st New West.
He repaired my Simms earlier this year, good job and reasonable price.

Express reel service does this.

I have done my own and had no problems.

heavy Felt soles and Shoo Goo.

I go to this place every time I have shoe issues. Good work, good prices, no nonsense :D

I plan to visit the cobbler in the next week or so.... one of the soles is coming off my Simms wading boots at the heel. Could probably get it done through Simms via Sea-Run but I don't want to send it off for 6 weeks at this time of the year.
