One year ago today seven people from the lower mainland (White Rock and Surrey) were on their way to Haida Gwaii for a fishing trip when they struck and killed Cameron Kerr while he was walking home on Hwy. 16 just outside of Terrace. I am sure they did not set out to kill someone that early winter morning, but instead of coming forward they worked together to cover up their involvement in Cam’s death by ditching their boat trailer and finding a different one before boarding the ferry in Prince Rupert to go to Haida Gwaii. None of those questioned are talking to police. None of them are giving the Kerr family any closure or peace surrounding his last minutes alive. Please, anyone in the Lower Mainland, especially if you are in Surrey or White Rock - share this story. I am sure one of those seven people has a conscious. It can’t be easy living with the guilt that you covered up your involvement in a young man’s death. Someone knows something. Please come forward for Cameron."
