NHL games in the 60s 70s 80s 90s really had lots of vicious fighting. 2-3 fights at one time were common. Clark ,Schultz,Wilson,Probert,Gilles,McSorley,Jonathon, plus what's his name enforcer for Oilers in. 80s?
plus Brown,Williams,Hunter,Ferguson....
Personally I like the cleaner style hockey. But wish we had the bigger ice surface. Olympic size.
Semenko Ed enforcer. Domi,Nilan,Maguson,Mansion, & that nice friendly Bible Thumper Grimson.
Looked at a list later on net & it said Jerry Korab was an enforcer. He was a Canuck as well as a player for other teams, but he striked me to be a gentle player cool headed ??? Good skater excellent shot great passer. I do not remember seeing him throw punches. Maybe my memory is fading.

I know he's in some deep poop with sexual assault stuff, but I was a big fan of Tiger Williams. He could rock with the big boys and tuck a few in the twine.Odjick was a tough customer as well as Ron Delorme. Always looking out for the rock stars. I remember reading a book co -written about Tiger;s upbringing all the way to the NHL. One piece of hockey wisdom given to him by Punch Imlach went like this: There's 2 types of players - choppers of wood and carriers of water.

He played hard with the talent he had. Remember he got close to Billy Smith the NYI goalie back in the day & the sticks started to swing. He had a hard time keeping up on the Maple Leaf line. Yes like a lot of famous people it seems they are getting exposed for past bad behaviour. Well it has been out of control & ladies just do not feel safe on their jobs. Porn culture has fuelled lots of men to act out.
Think only the tip of the iceberg ever becomes public. Lots of things happen when booze is involved.
Seen that book on Tiger. His face takes up the whole cover. Tough as nails. Raised in southern Sask.
Scored in Toronto & he rides his hockey stick & waves his glove in the air. Pure entertainment that was.
Worth the price of admission.
