What happens to bar fishing the Fraser during/after a highwater event like is happening?

Most rivers are going to blow out, will the Fraser as well, or is bar fishing still a plausible option?

Unless the amount of rainfall is stupidly high (this happened once on October 15th 2003), the Fraser River will stay fishable and not influenced by the tributaries in the Lower River. The clarity of the Fraser River is mainly affected by the larger tributaries in the Upper and Mid River.

Unfortunately, it has not been productive so far this year compared to last  year.

the flip side can also be true. We can have dry clear weather here but wet weather in the interior will raise the Fraser and color it up.

another note, the closer you are to the ocean the cleaner the water will be on high tides
