Three Days in Manning Park...

Last Thurs-Sat I went backpacking with my Venturers for a short trip, in Manning Park.

I like the pic of the deer, and the one of the forest fire smoke (the last pic, i think its smoke).
One of my favourite places to be. :)

That deer was really quite acclimatized to humans.  Didn't really startle unless you got closer than 15 feet or so.  I hope it doesn't end up getting in trouble.

The smoke was eerie.  To be able to see the fires burning in the Okanagan, like that.  To see the power of the fire.
