Bait for Rice Lake?
« on: May 21, 2017, 07:49:43 PM »

Gonna go to Rice Lake in the next few days, wondering what bait to try this time of year? Shrimp bits? power dough? small jigs? ultra small spoons?

Thanks in advance

^^^

Or this

If you fly fish, fast stripped small buggers or coho flies (olive) on a full sinking line work well.

X2

.... some people fish from the bottom with a sliding weight (2-3 oz or whatever), bead, swivel, 5-6 ft leader and powerbait balls... i normally use a float or fly fish, so maybe someone else can chime in about bottom fishing.

Maybe try using rice? Brown or white it's worth a shot.
