Crabbing regs for Burrard Inlet?
« on: May 18, 2017, 11:27:14 AM »

Stupid question but I can't figure from the DFO site if crabbing is open from shore in Burrard Inlet right now? I see people crabbing on the docks and found reports from previous years around the same time but the website seems to say it's closed from shore in Area 28, is that correct?
Thanks

Regular crab fishing is fine right now (depending on the region). Think you may be confusing it with Shore Crabs (the little guys under every rock). Dungeness, Red Rock, and Box crab are open and ripe for the picking!

Thanks a lot! I obviously confused "shore crab" with "crabbing from shore".
