6 cane flyrods for sale …
1) Pezon & Michel 8 1/2 ft 2 piece 5 wt Parabolic Speciale Normale. Rod has been refinished by me, original guides meant for thinner diameter silk lines have been replaced with larger modern snakes. Reel seat is a silver butt cap and ring, stamped Pezon & Michel, Amboise, Paris. Rod markings are nearly all intact and legible, French flag colours incorporated as per original, thread color is original burgundy but I added scarlet tipping to each guide wrap. Cork is original and in excellent shape. This is a great rod and well priced at $250
2) Allcocks “Sapper” 10 1/2 ft , 3 pc, with a 6” detachable screw in extension, bring the length to 11’, to make a 2 hander if so desired.. Refinished by me with tan silk guide wraps tipped in scarlet, 76 intermediate wraps. Original cork in excellent condition. Guides have been replaced with modern snakes for modern lines, gleaming brass fittings, dowelled, spiked ferrules, label intact. Magnificent rod for summer steelhead on the Coq or similar river… $250
3) All original, in excellent condition, Allcocks “ the Peerless” 9’, 3 pc, with 2 identical tips. Black ebonite reelseat with silver butt cap stamped M,N & P Ltd, Vancouver on one side and on the other side … Allcocks, Made in England. Dowelled spiked brass ferrules, intermediate wraps every 1 ˝ “ Well priced at $150
4) Montague 9‘ 3 pc, 2 tips the “Sunbeam” This rod has been refinished by me. The label, fully intact, indicates this rod was made between 1939 and 1949. Nice entry level cane. $125
5) Montague 9’ 3pc “Eel River” another rod refinished by me but with the original guides replaced on the rod. Nickel plated fittings, label intact and indicates it was also made between 1939 and 1949. $125
6) Another Montague “Sunbeam” 9’ 3 pc, 2 tips but all original and perhaps never fished as it still has the paper wrapping on the cork handle. Again made between 1939 and 1949 . $150
