I am very interested in this Rod.  Sounds like they were in the stomach, and expelled by being brought up from depth ... Is this a common issue with these coho? Any thoughts on what species of nematodes?

I'll collect some samples next time Dave. They are definitely being expelled as they come up. First time I've seen it after all these years.

Spent the day out at kawkawa yesterday. Too many cohos, one small trout, no kokanees to be had but good day to be out fishing.

Out yesterday. Water was nice except for one brief squall. First trip of the season, so it was more of a "locate the new boat issues" trip. Slow for most boats, but nice.

Kokanee fishing is pretty dead right now as expected, it'll pick up again in about a month from now.
