Looks like bottom bouncing to me.  ;D

Beauty of a day out there. You just needed a snowmobile or a horse.

You can drive to Edith lake, even in winter.

Good road access to Edith Lake year round, making it an excellent family-friendly fishery for Kamloops residents and visitors.

Oh that's really close to the road. Very nice family outing opportunity. Sure wish we had a few more lakes around here.

I started watching and it looks like Kitty is fishing two rods at the 3:31-ish time frame. Can one person fish two rods through the ice. Rod is a long ways away so clearly he's not attending his rod. Hmmm. I think you have to reel in if you're going to wander off to take a leak.

I'm still have a ways to watch but so far - nice job.

Report it. I'd be interested to hear what they say.

Wow, those were really nice fish. You two looked pretty tired at the end of the video. Looks like a full day of work and a lot of effort.

Enjoyed the video! Just wondering why you guys didn't put the tent over the holes to start with? Much easier to see down the hole. A power auger and skidoo would take a lot of the work out of your trip. Just wondering how thick was the ice you drilled through? Nice catch. Those cold water trouts taste the best!

We didn't use the tent for the first part for a couple of reasons. One is that we were moving around a lot trying to find fish in the first few hours. Second is that it was too dark to film in the tent.

The ice was perhaps 6 inches thick.

Okay! Yes one must drill a bunch of holes when ice fishing. 6 in ice is not a problem using a hand auger. I thought the ice would have been thicker then that with the extreme cold weather.
