Chum Salmon On The Vedder River
« on: October 18, 2016, 08:45:44 PM »

The recent rain has seen the chum move into the side streams to begin pairing up and starting their spawning. I came upon this group when cleaning up some garbage. The sad part some people were trying to snag them in 2 feet of water. ::)

Hope the officers that are patrolling the area will catch up to them, maybe should of phoned in but they are so busy dealing with a lot of this they cannot cover all areas but they are out there.

Here is the link, sorry for the rain drops but it was raining.https://youtu.be/snFbd4tLsR8

Personally if they really wanted to fine people/show they care for chum, they'd be on the Stave from October 1st to 31st
