Where to purchase bass gear
« on: August 08, 2016, 09:14:37 AM »

Looking for a local tackle shop (Burnaby) that carries a good selection of bass gear. I really need to get some "senko" plastics!
Thx

Senkos are one of my favourite bass baits.  I think Wholesale sells some, not sure what Pacific Angler has started stocking, but worth a look or a call to them.

For a big selection, head over the border and hit a tackle store down there.  Even walmart just over the border has a pretty good selection of bass gear.

Senko's are my go to for both large and smallmouth's. Unfortunately I've now used up the ones I brought up here from my days living in SoCal.

I will give wholesale a shot. Thanks

Wholesale sells Yum Dingers, a senko knockoff. Same idea, salt loaded stick baits.
But I still prefer the original Senkos which I order online..haha

Cabela's in Abbotsford carries the real "Senko's" in several varieties and colours as well as Cabela's brand "Senko's".
Hatch match'r in Haney carries some bass tackle as well as Sea-Run (Coq.) and First Light (Burn.)

Wholesale hasn't had dingers in stock for quite some time, so save yourself the trouble of going there. Cabelas in Abbotsford has the Yamamoto senkos in like three different sizes, color selection is pretty limited though.

Army and Navy in New West has a decent selection of frogs, soft plastics, off-set hooks and bullet weights.
Sea Run does have a good selection of bass baits too.
