Just got to Cable Pool at Cap and walked down the steps .... A dude was walking up with a freshly gutted Buck Steelhead!
I gave him a blast of sh*t and let him know that they are catch and release only here.... Bloody idiot just shrugged and said ...oops I didn't know.

He took off right away.... Couldn't get to my phone quick enough to take his pic ... White guy in mid to late thirties red hair and beard.

Just kills me how many people have no idea of regs...

I had an incident a little while ago where I caught people checking my crab traps.
It's tough to think clearly when all you see is red. You did better then most by calling it in.

What if that "dude" was packin a big knife and wasn't ready to take $h1t from you? Maybe he was fully capable of beating the tar out of you? Growing up I was the biggest tallest guy in my circle of friends. I've had the crap beat out of me by guys half my size.

Be that as it may. Dude would think twice before he poached another Steelhead. Just ask the guy on the Thompson I encountered a few yrs ago... :o
