NHL play-offs & general hockey news.

Owner of Flyers & past great puck stopper Charlie Hodge passed away recently.
Hodge played for the Canucks.
Liked his style.
He covered angles well & was a stand up goalie.
RIP guys.
Mason Flyers goalie let in a goal from a shoot in shot.
Humble pie.
Caps/Flyers series very physical.
Blackhawks down in series.
Have not watched much play so far but check out the results.
Canucks & Leafs & all Canadian based teams who did not make the playoffs should have to stay in their city of employment & forced to watch the entire playoffs.
( or in the least watch every game on DVD so they can see what serious hockey is all about )

Yes it sucks.
No Canada team to cheer on.
Guess we have to cheer on the Panthers & Ducks as they have long time  ex-Canuck players on their team.
Any of the 16 teams could take the Cup. Anybody's guess.

$500 bet that Canucks & Leafs do not get Cup in 2017.
Chicago still has life with their OT win yesterday. St Louise have a big & fast team. High tempo.
LA & Detroit out. Quick let in a few stinkers.
Caps lost their game 2-0 tonight. They out shot Philly 40 something ...to 11.
Goalie for Philly pulled a King Richard act.
Pens in driver's seat.
Ducks & Nashville squared up.
Dallas & Wild series still active.
Chicago & Blues has non stop high tempo hockey.
Transition play zippo then it 's zappo.
Back & forth. Great hockey.
NYI  & Panthers still alive.

Talking about odds...even a good team making the play offs has only 1/16th chance of becoming champs.

On other issues : pens vs caps !
Have you noticed the St Louis Blues a team full of players that are tall big fast good hands good passers great shots super skaters....
They will be hard to stop.
