Ha, I definitely wouldn't say a legend.
I just have a lot of time to explore (and the accessibility to lots of rivers to explore), I'm in shape enough to hike into stupid canyons most people wouldn't attempt, and there are so many non-pressured fish that it's easy most days. To top it off, I really enjoy taking pictures now (some days even more than the fishing itself), and I have always enjoyed writing - so blog posts are enjoyable to write in my down time.
In a way it's actually cool as well to have season recaps to look back on for myself. I do have journals, but I use those mostly for the ctrl+f feature that allows me to quickly look up what river I want to go to based on time of year, water heights, etc. I rarely look back on them for the memory aspect, like I would the blog posts which gives a quick full recap with my fav trips and pictures from the whole season.
Anyway, glad people are enjoying them... Might need to make a summer steelhead recap when I get some down time this week after the rivers all blow out with the rain we're forecast to get.
