Rod building workshop
« on: August 16, 2015, 08:59:02 PM »

Can anyone recommend somewhere in the Lower Mainland to take rod building class/workshop?  I saw that Fred's Custom Tackle ran them this past year but don't have any upcoming classes announced, I haven't seen anywhere else to take one.

Get enough of you guys and just hire someone (or ask freds)  to put one on for you vs waiting for them to announce a class which might never happen...

I posted a thread for interest in classes if you are still interested. I would love to learn how to rod build!

My name is Rod and I should know how to build a rod.  I use the best Duct Tape and Jiffy Glue available.  String helps at times too.

Guys, there is a special event on March 12 at the Heritage Park Centre called "All About Fishing Chilliwack"  Dave Barnes and Chad Hammond will be putting on a rod building presentation.  Should be good.
