Buddy told me there's enough flow on two bit bar on river rd in Fort Langley to toss out a small spin n' glo on my bar rig instead of just roe. Anybody else do that there?

During the outgoing tide in the Tidal Fraser River, there's more than enough current to work with a spin n' glow but it's also the wrong tide for salmon fishing. That doesn't mean there are no salmon going through, but just less of them compared to the incoming tide.

I know a guy who swears that area is best fished on the outgoing tide all the way down to poplar. I've bar fished there a handful of times (with roe) with no success. Lots of pesky bait thieves.

Yes best roe fishing is on outgoing tide scent trail goes down river and draws fish in.

I fish that area often, and use a spin glo more for floatation and to keep the suspended a bit, it's been pretty slow as of late. I usually fish before the high tide reaches its peak. I don't think there's a right or wrong answer.
I was down at 2 bit bar and used my deeper fish finder the bottom was around 12-14 and I didn't mark any fish that day.
Curious while on the topic is pink fishing this area good?

Yes pink fishing is good in that area...2 more weeks it will be worth trying for them...going to be crazy season of millions of pinks!

Best tide varies with the bar. Mostly peak time is right around the tide changes the last hour or two of the tide followed by the hour or so of the new tide. Most of the bars in the Langley area fished best on the ebb tide.

Pink fishing is horrible! Stay away!! Nothing is ever caught there
