Hello,

I'm looking for recommendations for purchasing fishing gear online. Everything from fly tying materials to bar fishing gear. I prefer to keep it as local as possible (BC or Canada).

I live in an area where we have a small outdoor store that doesn't seem to get much in and when they do, the orders are always missing items or they don't carry certain items anymore.

The catalyst for this post was a search for spreader bars / t-bars. Any help on these specifically would be appreciated as well. I took a look through Cabelas and Wholesale without any luck.

Llama would b a lot cooler if it wasn't in USD. Togenenterprises.com is out of Surrey great for chironomid supplies they're hooks are nice strong wire similar to Alec jacksons and they have a great variety of beads

It looks like Berry's Bait has a variation of the t-bar I was looking for.

The website http://www.togenenterprises.com seems to have good prices. Any idea about the quality of the products like the hooks and leaders?

Llama has a tab where you can select CAD from a dropdown list on the left of the page I believe.

I've seen some good prices on eBay, but I wonder if there is a catch.

Here is a reel with 10 ball bearings selling for US $16 (around C $20):

No catch, just cheaply made in China products.
