A good start to Winter Steelhead Season brings the New Year In....Happy New Year everyone!
Fish wishes look good for the season based on the trend so far.
Each day we have been encountering at least 5-8 opportunities per outing all week, and for those who were able to make each one stick, well that is incredible fishing. Best we have seen in years.
River conditions are ideal in both the upper and the lower. Anglers are encountering nice fish in all sections of the river now. Good school holding in Stamp Falls pool, fresh fish in the lower, middle and upper. Also bait can be used in the lower. (see regs on our fishing report page)
With some rain in the forecast this will continue to hold for good conditions. The snow in the forecast has changed to rains light to moderate.
