Jean Beliveau was a great great player. If he accidentally clipped a player with his stick ,he would go over & apologize!!!
He was the true sportsman.
Great skater, stick handler, play maker & scorer.
He was the thinking man on the ice.
10 Stanley Cups as a player & more Cups while wearing the shirt & tie in the Habs organization.
Remember the super games between the Canadians & Leafs on Hockey Night in Canada during the 60s. Esso tv commercials. & Danny G. & Dick I. doing the play by play / color...
Those were the days.
He was another guy I talked to in short as he was on a local radio talk show.
He had a faith & went to church so if anyone is RIP it's him.
So humble, signed autographs, smiling, & just a guy with lots of love in his heart.

Class and humbleness personified. Today's athletes could learn a lot from Jean Beliveau on how to conduct themselves on and off the sporting arena. He will be sorely missed.
