Hatzic Hole is one of the if not the most important piece of sturgeon habitat on the Fraser. This area is the largest known wintering hole and rearing area for juvenile sturgeon. Mission council is trying to quietly push through a bylaw change that will allow a property owner at Hatzic who also owns a gravel pitt to change his zoning to allow him to load barges at this site. If you agree that this should be looked at further instead of being pused through without any environmental reviews, write TODAY at planning@mission.ca
