Maybe this means Peg Leg is actually worth fishing...

That's why I haven't fished the C/V system for 20+ years-what a dump!

What's worse the crowd or the people in it?

Ehhhh, both!? Ha ha, I think at times it can be the crowd. While the river looks big, at times there are only a handful of fishable spots or at least some of the time it feels like that. So the crowds can be unbearable. But even when the crowds aren't around. The people themselves can drive you to drink... some already do. Since the campsites or at least the one there offers winter camping, I get the distinct pleasure of dealing with the occasional afternoon drunk.

Lew and I observed this while doing a bit of a river cleanup today.
Enjoy. :-\

These people only know how to fish this way. They don't know how to fish for coho properly . They fish the Rapids when the rivers up and the canal when it's low. There's areas on the vedder where I fished where there were hardly any fishermen the same day as this video was taken.

the snaggers were in full force today at tamahi......must of counted around 50 cars lined up and parked by the bridge. The canal must get lonely during high water. ;D

50 cars keyed today at Tamihi .Police looking for suspect with long stringy knotted hair and funny hat , escaped in a locksmith van that said " Perfect Pinstriping " on back door .

Terrible because of the damage to  the cars and yet... completely believable simply because I know the city we live and some of the messed up funny stuff that can happen.

What made me "lol" though was the fact that the funny hat part made picture the culprit as this guy...

there was younger guys(18-24) that vandalized my friends truck last summer and one had long dark brown matted hair and a funny black brimmed hippy hat(almost like a woven wool hat or something). both Caucasian males.keyed the crap outa his truck and dented it to crap... pretty cowardly immature act for no reason other than not getting the "spot" first  and getting your line cut for ruining somebodies drift repeatedly.  I thought it was kind of extreme anyways. don't know if its the same guy but the funny hat and hair made me instantly think it was the same guy :-\.
