Non-tial Fraser River, September 2nd 2014
« on: September 03, 2014, 10:22:24 AM »

Headed up to the bar near Rudy Creek about 5:00 AM.  Last time out a couple of weeks ago was right after a commercial opening and in 3 hours only saw 2 fish caught, none for me.

Yesterday was completely the opposite.  While getting ready saw 3 fish landed.  Fishing with one other person and in 1 1/4 hours had lost one each at the beach and landed two each.  Much happier ride home.

Stopped on the way home in Chilliwack and bought some fresh corn.  Fresh sockeye and corn on the BBQ last night can't beat it.

Depends on the condition the flow, which isn't consistent, obviously.

Maybe try 2.5oz and go up or down as needed?  It takes a person under 5 seconds to change a betty.

I started with a 4oz and snagged up twice on my first few casts, moved down to a 3 oz and only had one snag the rest of the day.

All the fish I saw caught were bright silver some with sea lice on still.
