Thought I would venture out for a little bar fishing today and was fortunate to find an unoccupied piece of gravel to fish.

Before the Leaf Craft launched we had several visitors, some reporting poor catches other not too bad. I seemed to be the only one with bar rods.

After setting up a boat pulls in downriver from mea bit and they found this fairly quickly http://youtu.be/FnwtiF004CM

All I found was a nice agate had a good nap and visted with 2 other chaps, one from this forum who were also bar fishing.

Had some good Joiner corn along with sockeye salmon and Spences Bridge tomatoes for supper.The sockeye was from a tin from the grocery store. 

Sockeye catchs seemed slow in the area I was in and will get worse after the commercial opening of today, will try for cutthroat tomorrow
