McConnell Lake, August 16th 2014
« on: August 16, 2014, 02:56:47 PM »

Went to McConnell today. Overcast, periods of rain. Had the place to myself, except for the fishing osprey. No problem catching them on lures, but fly behind a torpedo float got the most. Only brought two flies, one taken by a lunker into some debris (before snapping off and porpoising away). Great morning close to home.

Katie loves to release them...

Average size today..

Thought so. Had luck at Walloper and Stake Lake earlier in the year. Nice area.  8)
