I was out for the first time this season on Sunday I tested the upper and lower rives, no fish to be seen...

every year on the vedder , theres a total hot spot for red springs , i havent found it this year in 3 trips, there is usual clues to where it is but yes this probably is a correct report , when you find it,,,its a golden fishery.  the big problem with it is you kill a smaller darker fish then catch a chrome hawg later which goes back in

Seems to be slowing down with less fish moving through. Only hooked 2 sockeye and lost a mid teens spring in 7 hours. All hookups were within a 20 minute span.

My wife got a nice 15lb buck yesterday! Was her first red and it gave her a good battle, Caught mid afternoon on row mid chilliwack river. They are getting a bit of colour but still solid, tight lines 8)

Proud to report that I hooked my first summer run Chinook this morning at first light. Strong pulling little guy estimating around 8 lbs.he snapped my 10lb liter like nothing when he got close to shore. After about 8:00am there was no more action. Caught a couple socks as well.

Wouldn't use 10lbs when targetting spring. But regardless good on you for hooking one.

yep learned the hard way  :-\ Got some 15lb flurocarbon and going back tomorrow to see what I can do. Was caught on pro-cured prawns. Save-on foods in chilliwack has buy one pack of prawns get one free right now .
