Bruins are giving the Habs all they can handle

Bruins are wearing down the Habs it seems.
Bruins now lead 3-2 in games.
One more win for Boston & Montreal is history.

Boston played well tonight, Montreal not so much. I expect the Habs to win Monday and force a 7th and deciding game.

FA hope your prediction is right.
The fans in Montreal will be so "down" if they lose badly like they did in the last game.

Should it go to a game 7 the players / goalie are extra tight nervous stressed because it's do or die & no more chances.
Get the W or go home.

Think both teams will go at it hard in Montreal.
Habs want to stay alive & Bruins want to finish them off & avoid a game 7.
Kinda like a bull fighter finishing the animal with the sword.
Plus Bruins would like to get a little rest before the next series.

Montreal scored early on a terrible giveaway and never looked back. 4-0 final

FA your knowledge of sports has come thru again.
Habs won as ya predicted.

Now will the Bruins blow a tire in their own building in game 7 ( like the Canucks did in the finals in Vancouver )
Game 7s are fun to watch.
Rangers vs Pens is another up coming game 7.

Boston has home ice advantage in game 7. Key for Montreal is to get off to a good start and survive the first 10 minutes. I expect the Bruins (Lucic, Marchand, Thornton, Chara) will try to goad the Canadiens into taking retaliatory penalties. Use their speed to force turnovers and capitalize on the giveways.

Yes Boston should be coming out like gang busters & try to get a 2-3 goal lead & keep pouring it on.
Fuelled by their cheering fans.
Hopefully the refs will call a fair game.
Sometimes when the fans are going "nuts" the visiting team gets no breaks & they get called for a way more penalties.

Goalies going to have to be on their game.

Pens leading the Rangers 3-1 in games & the Rangers win away from their building & get a W in game 7. !
Unreal. They won 3 straight games for the comeback.
St Louis mom dies & the players used that to play hard.

Blackhawks get good goaltending & the stars for them come thru & win game 6 to take the series.
The Wild played great & could of easily won tonight to bring the series to a game 7 but it just was not to be.

Guess Quebec & Ottawa should open up the bank & buy the Bruin fans tickets. $10,000 offered should pry a ticket from each Boston fan.
With the tickets Quebec & Ottawa can give them to the Montreal Canadian fans.
Net result when the Bruins come out on the ice in Bean town & they see nothing but Canadians fans they will be stunned.
They will have blown minds thus easy pickings for the W.  :o

Joking aside it should be a great game.
Cheering for a Canadian win but it still would be a great battle if it's another Bruin vs Hawks in the finals.
Last year between them was a roller coaster exciting series. Great action between 2 super teams.
Both are hungry & want that Cup again.

Canadiens not only survived the 1st 10 minutes but they also took an early lead on a goal by Dale Wiese enroute to a 3-1 victory. As predicted, Marchand and Chara got flagged for penalties. Montreal's acquisition of a couple of ex-Canucks (Mike Weaver and Dale Wiese) is paying big dividends in the playoffs.

What a glorious game.  I hope the Habs can somehow go all the way. Be nice if a Canadian team could finally win the cup since Montreal did it last in 93.
