alouette Lake June 13th
« on: June 16, 2004, 08:57:13 AM »

Went out on Sunday and spent 2 hours slaying rainbows..... Hooked into 6 rainbows and 2 kokenee. All were left to be caught another day. between 10-15"

Had on little guy take me to my backing and he was only 11-12" These guys are great. Didn't even need the motor as the wind was up and let it blow us around the lake.

Got to love the lake exept for the water skiers have to get so close like there isn't enough lake for everyone. We were 35 ft fron the shore opp. to the boat launch.

Sounds like you had a good day.  Sometimes i think those power boats purposely try to piss the fishermen off.  What type of fish was that 15 incher.

15" Kokenee, they are solid fish but don't have the fight of the rainbows.

The small rainbows were really scrapping

olive leech with a gold bead head and believe it or not I have attached a 1oz betty to the floating line with a loop and used a 8ft 4 lbs leader.

I guess that a full sink would do the same
