For sale a mint condition Hardy mooching rod. Has extended but and is a great centrepin rod.                                                             Email me  at catania-69@hotmail.com for pics. Is it the brown blank glass rod with red windings that came out in the late 70's?

Yup, that's the Moocher.. beauty rod ;) caught a ton of fish with mine back in the day.  firebird, are you thinking of the 10-10 , a much beefier stick?

Yes Dave, that's the one I have - close to mint condition in sock. I thought this moocher for sale was missing 10 inches :) Is the moocher glass or carbon? I'm sure it's nice ... all Hardy stuff seems to give you that comfortable feeling.

My Hardy moochers have dark green wraps also, very light action compared to the 10-10s
