Fishing up the coast
« on: June 11, 2004, 09:49:48 AM »

Good mornin all,

I was wondering if anyone could point me to a good salmon fishing river, on the coast.

Maybe up past horseshoe bay and further. I am thinking in taking some day trips this year.

I would like to try the North coast ( hours north of Vancouver) if possible.

Also if would anyone want to come along, let me know. Share gas and fish stories!

I have Sundays and Mondays off and 2 weeks  ;D ;D starting last week o' June.

I've never fished it before, but have you had a look at the Squamish...There are plenty of people on this board that fish that river who could point you in the right direction.

I think that this is what you are asking, or are you asking about way up North ? QCI's etc...?

Lots around squamish.  Try the Indian River for a long day or overnighter when the chinook are in.  It's also great in a pink year.  The upper Pit area is also good if you have a boat or like long hikes.
